IV Conference on Portuguese Language

Between the 26th and the 28th of October, the University of Copenhagen will host the IV Conference on Portuguese Language where debates will take place regarding different perspectives on teaching Portuguese both as a first language and as a foreign language, particularly in the Nordic countries, but also in countries out of Scandinavia.

This is the first time that the Conference will take place in Copenhagen and it will count on the participation of investigators and linguists coming from several different countries. Amongst the several participants, Dr. Gabriela Albergaria from the Camões Institute, with her presentation – “The Portuguese Language around the world: challenges and opportunities” – will highlight the growing importance of these Conferences.

Aarhus European Capital for Culture 2017: Inês d’Orey participates in the exhibition “Fresh Eyes”

Based on the exhibition FRESH EYES - International Artist Rethink Aarhus, the Galleri Image  in collaboration with the Aarhus Centre for Literature published the book “Fresh Eyes”.

The exhibition and the book are the result of the work of 11 photographic artists, including Inês d’Orey, throughout 4 years (2013-2017). During those four years, the city of Aarhus was visited, photographed and interpreted by those artists. It is those interpretations of Aarhus that are now being shown and included in the book.

The exhibition is open to the public until the 29th of October in the Galleri Image and in several other locations in Aarhus.
